A lot of users in my company are uploading a huge amount of files onto SharePoint. the problem is that the default setting is that all document are checked out. I would like to be able to change this default setting or check in multiple files at the same time. am new to the field and the job so if the solution requires running a script can you please enclose instruction on how to run it.

The multi-upload functionality in sharepoint is - friendly said - horrible. so we developed a client-application (sharxx) where you can interact with sharepoint in a better and friendlier way. e.g. like you see in the screenshot you can drop one or more documents into sharxx and upload it with the attributes you specify (you can also specify to use for all files the same attributes). there are lots of more additional functionalities like:

-) upload mails with all mail-attributes from outlook with drag&drop

-) define your own navigation

-) offline functionality

-) define easily views

-) ...
