I can't find much documentation on this subject.  Does anyone out there know if there's good article somewhere about migrating Public Folders to SharePoint 2007?

Also, in Public Folder Calendars we were able to give user's specific "roles" like Author, Owner, etc.  These roles gave the user specific rights to the calendar, and one being that they were only able to delete or modify their OWN calendar entries.  I don't find that SharePoint security allows this kind of calendar-friendly permission options.  Am I missing something?

I would be interested in any responses to this as well. I have just started to look at migrating public folders to MOSS, but like Mr. DP can't find good documentation on this.

I constructed a very elaborate system of pubic folders some of which wrote to access to store data. It was a marvelous tool. I started a new job and needless to say they want to use infopath and sharepoint. Much to my dismay it isn't all that easy. It is even more flaky then the public folders. I have had forms run code and all of a sudden stop working and I can't figure out why. It's too bad they didn't figure out a better way. I have not seen anything on how to migrate. I wish I could because a lot of stuff is already written and can be re-used. Good Luck.
