    SPS 2003 Tips & Tricks

There used to be a nice "Tips" section on MSD2D that had useful articles. As a matter of fact, I had published a couple there myself. Now I can't find any of it, especially SPS2003 related stuff. I even had a "Favorites" list that I used to refer to frequently. Is there a way to get those?

I am specifically looking for an article titled "microsoft sharepoint server tutorials: hiding custom list items ". It still shoes up on various search engines, however the link brings us to this site without finding the article.

Re: SPS 2003 Tips & Tricks

Due to technical and resource limitations, we had to draw an (agreed--arbitrary) "line" and we took all the Tips submitted in 2007 and a number from 2006 and posted them in the Articles section.  Our plan is to "back fill" the tips from earlier times as resources allow, but we had to make a major jump forward in technology in order to support the massive wave of interest in the new versions of SharePoint.  Tips from MSD2D will generally be posted in the Articles section of the site.  We're currently experiencing a glitch with it, though, so I pulled the specific tip you want out and posted it as a Tip.

You can find it now at http://community.officesharepointpro.com/forums/28880/ShowThread.aspx#28880.

It will be moved to the Articles section once we get the glitch fixed.

I'd be very interested to get your list of "favorites" from MSD2D!  That would help me prioritize the items that are of value to you, and I'd guess to other members of the community, so that we can prioritize those for reposting!  Thanks!  I'm at danh [at} intelliem (top level commercial domain].

Definitely appreciate your feedback and your interest in the site and in the community--we made a massive investment to get it reborn, but there is still "dust" and your constructive suggestions are just the kind we need to move it forward!

I'm moving your post into the Web Site Feedback forum, just so that we can keep Tips focused on new tips, rather than questions or discussions.

     All the best,

    Dan
