Hello colleagues,

I tried to run WSS3 and was shocked by the permissions - there are only Full Control, Design, Contribute and Read with no possible modifications - does this mean that there is no possibility to have users, who can for example create an item, but not edit it?

This would be crucial.

Any help would be strongly appreciated.

you can have  your own permission level set or create more  roles. meanign
