I have been pouring through documentation on the setup of MOSS 2007, Forms 
server 2007 and Live Comm Server 2005 (2007 wasn't available when we 
purchased it).  We are in the process of bringing a sharepoint environment 
online for the first time.  

I have setup MOSS 2007 and checked it out.  Part of the initial checklist is 
to install the remaining SharePoint servers into the Farm.  Now here is where 
I get a bit confused.  The MOSS 2007 documentation says to install MOSS 2007 
on all servers in the farm and the Forms Server 2007 documentation says to 
install Forms Server 2007 in every server in the farm.  Is this necessary?  
Is there an easy to follow setup guide that shows how to integrate the 
different servers without trying to install in multiple servers?

I'm having a hard time figuring out if I need to install MOSS 2007 on all my 
servers and declare them web/application/database etc.. and just install the 
Forms Server and Live Comm server software on specific servers, or whether 
the setup from each piece of software has to be run on every server (that 
doesn't make much sense to me)

Has anyone done a multi server install integrating other "sharepoint server" 
suites together?

I found the instructions a bit confusing as well. Does the Forms Server have its *own* farm, or is it running on top of the MOSS installation (the instructions for setup are exactly the same for MOSS)? Some of the info I've seen makes it sound like they are separate entities and other info leads me to believe one is a feature of the other. Also, does the Forms Server require its own SSP, web application, and site collection, or can it use an existing MOSS structure?
