I've been asked to create a set up SharePoint standards for our organization. Does any one have information or a sample global standard they'ed be willing to share? Any information on content etc. would be greatly appreciated. (We're on SPS 2007 and WSS 3.0.)

Have you checked out the Governance resources on Microsoft's TechNet site for SharePoint?

There are a couple of white papers there that I wrote about WSS that are quite applicable in a MOSS world, too.
