    MHTML type documents

    Hi Everyone,

I am using sharepoint services 3. I am a newbe and i hope my question is in the right section. If not please point me where to look.

Everymonth my reporting services will schedule to run some reports in MHTML format and send to our document library in sharepoint.

My problem is when users click those documents, Windows open it in Word not IE. I need to open it using IE without having to hold the ctrl key and click.

I really appreciate it if anyine can help.

    Thank you very much

    Re: MHTML type documents

    I just verified my setup.

    XPsp2, Office 2007, IE 7.

I am one of the SharePoint admins in my world and our mht files open in IE and not with Word. Now if I need to edit the file Word will open. When I hold the Ctrl key down and click it forces another IE tab to open the document and not open in the same tab I'm currently in.
