How to get the list of the domain specific users

Hi, I am working on Sharepoint Services version 2. In our application, we want to customize the Address book button ( In AclInv.aspx page) in such a way that only the list of  a particular domain's users (Instead of the global AD )is displayed .How can this be done ?

Thanks in advance for any replies !!

     Hi,

Can you please tell me where this AclInv.aspx page exists? So that I can try to give the solution.

How to get the list of the domain specific users

    Hi Kris,

    Thanks for the reply!

AclInv.aspx is one of the layouts' page.. The path is : http://<server>/site_name/_layouts/1033/AclInv.aspx ...

This page comes when a site administrator wants to add a new user in Manage users page.

    Thanks Again !

How to get the list of the domain specific users

    Hi,

I think, there is no stright way to add users belongs to specific domain.

    But, try out this way:

If you click on "Address Book" button in the Add Users page, and the dialog box is displayed from Outlook contacts, then you can do one thing.

Create a Group with the required domain users. And then add this group as Sharepoint site users.

Rate this if it is useful.

How to get the list of the domain specific users

    Hi Kris,

Thanks for the idea ! Yes, I think thats a good option.

but in our application, the requirement is that administrators should be able to see only users in that particular domain  and no one else..

But this option will be useful in case we find no other way to do it..

    So Thanks a ton !!!!
