    New WSS 3.0 Application Templates

Just downloaded and installed a couple of the new application templates that were released by Microsoft.  Installs all completed successfully, but when I try to apply any of the templates to a new subsite, I receive the following error:

Feature '75a0fea7-2791-45a2-896f-e538f91032d8' is not installed in this farm, and can not be added to this scope

Has anyone else had luck with these new application templates?

    Any suggestions?

    Have a great day!

    Hi Kirk,

You may want to review the way you are installing these templates.  The link below you should find the directions you need at the bottom of the post.

I have not installed these myself but am planning on installing them later on this week.  I will let you know if I run into these issues.  On the other hand let me know if this wasn't just an issue caused by the way you might have been installing the templates.

    Thanks,

    New WSS 3.0 Application Templates

That did it!  Thanks Jason!  I downloaded a few of the individual packages to start off, so this is what got me "applicationtemplatecore.wsp, that seems to be missing from some of the individual downloads"

Also, can you shed some light on the %f command that Dustin uses?  Whenever I tried running the %f commands specified in his post, I received a file not found error.

    Thanks again for your help!

    Hey, Kirk

I'm working on moss2007 and I've having the same issue. When I add "applicationtemplatecore.wsp" solution, it told me specified file was not found.

I found your post and am wondering have you ever got that figured out??

    Thank you in advance.
