From any of our sites I have created I click Create - Import Spreadsheet - 
enter name, click browse, select Excel spreadsheet and witnhin Excel select 
the range of cells and Import but I always get an error 'Cannot connect to 
the server at this time. Your table cannot be published'. 

I am using MOSS 2007 and Excel 2007. Also get this error from Excel 2003.

I have done lots of research on this issue and found an article 
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838703 but it is related to Sharepoint 2.0. I 
did what it suggested and I could import a spreadsheet directly from the 
Central Administration website, so I saved as a template but I then couldnt 
see the template from any of my sites. 

Has anyone come across this and suggest a solution?
