We have a large organization and are running MOSS/WSS 3.0 and, for uniformity purposes, have developed a standardized look and feel (navigation/theme…) however, due to the size of our organization we have to assign the primary person for each particular site SharePoint Owner permission (WSS level) so that they can add/remove users themselves.
Unfortunately, some of the Site-Owners have decided to show Web Services their “creative and artistic expertise” by opening pages up in a web editor or application with web editor capabilities (MS Word).
Is there any way to create (or modify) a user group that will allow the person (WSS level) to add/remove users but will NOT allow them to open a page in a web editor?
