Office 2007 with language pack deployment

     Hi all,

I'm currently trying to deploy Office 2007 Enterprise english with the french language pack automatically. Actually, I have no problem to deploy the Office suite without the language pack. I created a MSP file with the settings I need.

Then I copied the French files in the source folder without overwriting files and configure the config.xml file included in the Enterprise.WW folder. It now include the <Add Language Id=”en-us” ShellTransform=”yes” /> <AddLanguage Id=”fr-fr” /> string with nothing else. But when I execute the setup with \\server\sth0000a\setup.exe /config \\server\sth0000a\Enterprise.WW\config.xml /adminfile custom_canada.msp the setup only install the English instance.

I refer myself to the “Deployment for the 2007 Office release” from Microsoft and try everything in it but with no chance. Am I missing something !?! I hope someone here will be able to help me!

    Thank you in advance.
